Community Outreach

At Eagles View Church we are dedicated to meeting the needs of our immediate community. Our desire is to be a hub for ministry in the community of Eagle Mountain-Saginaw that provides hope and healing in the name of Jesus.

Saginaw Elementary

Saginaw Elementary School is one of the lowest economic schools in our district. In 2011, our relationship began with the restoration and improvement of an outdoor courtyard which is utilized for daily instruction at the school. Our Women of Wisdom ladies group then led us into a ministry of encouragement as we intentionally serve the teachers through supplies and meals of appreciation. In 2014, we began a mentoring program called Kids Hope which pairs up trained members of EVC with children who could strongly benefit from having a caring mentor in their life.

For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’ Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’

(Matthew 25:35-40 ESV)
