Ministry Partners

EVC partners with several local and global ministries to continue our efforts to Extend God's Kingdom. If you're interested in providing additional support to any of the ministries below, check our their website or contact our church offices.

  • Community Link

Community Link is a local non-profit organization dedicated to fighting hunger and giving hope to needy families in and around the Saginaw area. Their mission relies on the help of volunteers and while there are opportunities to serve throughout the week, EVC has arranged to organize volunteers to serve at Community Link the second Saturday of each month from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm. When families come to pick up their groceries, we will be pulling the items from the shelves, bagging them and placing them in the vehicle for the families. It’s a simple but rewarding opportunity to serve in your local community. Community Link does require that all volunteers be 13 years of age or older and pre-registration is preferred to help them make sure that they have enough volunteers. The next opportunity to serve will be May 13th. For more information or to sign up to volunteer, please contact Ken Edwards at 214-544-5921.

We partner with Community Link Mission every year through financial support, volunteers and food drives. Through them, we help provide food and household items to thousands of families in our own community. Last year, the EVC family provided 200 backpacks filled with school supplies to families in need through the Community Link Back to School Fair.
