Support Groups at EVC are communities focused on specific goals or life stages. Look for more support groups to be added soon! If you have an idea for a support group, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your idea.
For those living with depression and/or anxiety. These groups are designed to be a source of support and open dialogue. We give participants a chance to share their concerns, frustrations, ask questions and share breakthroughs to benefit others in the group. We are not a therapy group, nor is the group designed to replace therapy or interfere with any medical treatment being received by participants.

For loved ones of those living with a mental illness. These groups provide an environment where you can share your burdens, glean from others experience and find strength being with people who are on the same path.

For Middle and High School Students feeling hopeless and overwhelmed with life. Each of us face different challenges and each of us has a unique story. When we come together to share our stories we are able to offer each other support and encouragement.
1st Sundays of the month - 1:15 to 3:15pm (Girls led by Michelle and Cori, Classroom 111. Boys led by Chris and Jon, Classroom 113)
For children K-5th grades who are dealing with depression, anxiety, focus issues and social skills support.
Co-leaders Gabby and Hope will engage with your kids in a loving, supportive role.

NOTE: We will have a special "Parents Meet the Co-Leaders" on Sunday, July 28 at 1:00pm in the Student Center. You will have an opportunity for you to meet Gabby and Hope and hear how they will interact with your children in this special Support Group for kids.
Get together with other veterans and share your experiences in a setting where what is shared in the group stays in the group. We encourage one another as we look to God and the Bible for strength to face our challenges and for answers to our questions. Don't try to go through the grieving process alone. GriefShare is a place where you'll find caring people who understand the issues you face. Through video sessions and workbooks, together we will face the heartbreak of grief and support you as you go through the different stages. Registration Fee: $10.00. DivorceCare Support Groups meet weekly to help you face the challenges of divorce and move toward rebuilding your life. The DivorceCare curriculum lasts 13 weeks; however, each session is self-supporting. You may come into the group at any time. Making Peace With Your Past will help you find healing, understanding, and freedom from past experiences that are affecting your daily life. This support group is for individuals wanting to change patterns of behavior linked to family of origin issues and is not intended to replace Professional Christian counseling.

You are a "survivor of suicide," and as that unwelcome designation implies, your survival -- your emotional survival -- will depend on how well you learn to cope with your tragedy. The bad news: Surviving this will be the second worst experience of your life. The good news: The worst is already over.
